Pew’s Summary

The SoundShock Neos is a 3D-printable resurrection of the Beretta U22 Neos—a gun the creator admits is “mid” at best, but hey, parts kits don’t assemble themselves. After five years of ADHD-powered procrastination, a final frame emerged with DBFirearms cleaning up the modeling and Gerald.Katz supplying patience (and probably aspirin). The design works across all U22 models, even the goofy carbine barrel, and has been beaten through ~1000 rounds in testing without turning into a polymer pretzel. Building one means cranking out a near-solid PLA+ frame, drilling some holes, filing away printer sins, and then hammering pins like you’re playing Whac-A-Mole with Italian engineering. Expect to wrestle with the mag catch, chase detent springs across the room (pro tip: use a plastic bag), and resist the urge to yeet the striker across the shop like a steel Nerf dart. In the end, you’ll have a working Neos that’s half Beretta, half MakerBot fever dream—proof that even “meh” guns can become glorious printable projects when given enough spite and Loctite
